About Mentortees

Mentortees is a platform for the provision of mentoring to people who work in or would like to work in the investment management industry. 

At Mentortees, we are passionate about the vital role that mentoring can provide to any individual wanting to progress in their career, learn new skills and grow as an individual. 

Mentortees aims to match mentees with mentors to provide a collaborative and mutually beneficial learning and growth experience for both the mentor and mentee. 

Through our knowledge of successful mentoring relationships, we offer structured guidance to both mentors and mentees before they begin their journey together. This ensures that both parties consistently work collaboratively to achieve the mentee's objectives.  We believe that the mentee should own the mentoring objectives, defining and agreeing these with their mentor from the outset.  

 Susie has always been passionate about equality and helping others, coupled with a strong desire for continuous learning and growth.   

Throughout her career, she benefited immensely from informal mentorships and recognised their significant value. This inspired her to dedicate herself to learning everything about building successful mentorships. As a result, she founded Mentortees with the vision of making mentoring accessible to anyone eager to grow, at any stage of their career.

Susie worked for over 20 years in several London-based investment managers, initially as an accountant within finance and later in compliance, culminating in her role as Director of Compliance for Aspect Capital Limited. 

Susie is a qualified accountant with CIMA. She lives in Surrey, just outside London, with her husband and two children and enjoys running and long walks.
